So... I am preparing to go to bed and... I can't sleep... no serious. I really can't sleep because it's dawning on me that I am detached. I am so detatched from what's going on in Haiti, Im becoming one of those people that I cuss all the time, the type that stand and watch when some one gets attacked on the road or the type that would walk away when shit goes down (sorry for lang) but it's true because I have been saying for the last couple of days saying how sad the Haiti situation is and that I am praying for them; but what good is prayer with no action, what's good about talking about taking a stand & not doing it. It's ashame that the stories we read in our free metro's or evening standard newspapers on the train, have become images that we just gaze at and what we call being engaged is being moved to a point where it makes us sad even to sometimes to tears, but why can't it move us to help and sacrifice something in our lives for the lives of others. All I am saying is that some terrible shit is going on in Haiti and I see my bros, sisters & little children hurt or dying I have to give whether it's a £5 or clothes or toys, I can't just prepare to go to bed and be moved to a point where i say it's sad. I have to be moved to take some action. So I urge all who read this blog donate in anyway you can because if this were you, would you want the world to reach out to you? Remember you are apart of this world and you have a part to play in it so don't think government's taking care of it and this agency is sorting out. You help to sort it out. DON'T LET THE HAITI APPEAL SLOW DOWN, DON'T LET THIS STORY DIE & BE FORGOTTON BY FEBRUARY. PLEASE PASS THIS MESSAGE ON.
